Clinical Philosophy
I practice relational, modern psychoanalytic therapy.
We look beyond symptom management to what shapes the symptoms. Your history, relationships, and meanings matter. Our relationship becomes a safe place to try new ways of being.
01.
Whole‑Story Inquiry
Early on, I use a detailed inquiry. The questions we linger on help us map what formed you: what you survived, what you had to leave behind, and what keeps showing up. We return to these reference points as you grow. New things reveal themselves and feelings shift over time.
02.
An orienting principle, not a technique
This inquiry reveals your narrative and lived experience. It keeps us asking a simple guiding question: What do you need from me right now so that something new can happen, or move to resolution?
That question steadies us when things feel fast or murky and helps us fit the work to you rather than the other way around.

Why I do this work
My path into this field was personal before it was professional. I saw what happens when people have to make sense of their lives without a consistent place to do it. I trained to offer that place with rigor and care. I like slow questions and the experience of full answers revealing themselves over time. I like seeing someone feel more like themselves.

Fees, Payment, and Insurance
My standard fee is $250 for 45-minute sessions and $300 for 60-minute sessions. We'll review fees during our initial call and in your intake documents.
I’m an out-of-network provider and don’t bill insurance directly.
If cost is the main barrier, tell me. When I don’t have reduced-fee spots available, I’ll try to offer referrals that fit your budget.
Many clients are reimbursed by their insurance for out-of-network psychotherapy. I provide a monthly statement (a “superbill”) you can submit. Please check your plan for details as coverage varies.
